Hi, I’m Brittany, the creator behind Brittany URL. This policy explains what information https://brittanyurl.com collects, what I do with it, and the choices you have. I wrote it in plain English on purpose.

- Contact and brand inquiries: your name, email, company name, and whatever you include in your message
- Comments: your name, email, and website (if you add one) when you leave a comment on a post
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you visit, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:
- Device and browser information, like browser type, device type, and operating system
- Usage information, like the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the site that sent you here
- Your IP address and general location (city or region level, never your exact address)

EMAIL LIST
My email list is managed through Flodesk. When you sign up, your name and email are stored by Flodesk so I can send you emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can leave anytime. You can read Flodesk’s privacy policy on their website.
AFFILIATE LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. My affiliate partners include Amazon and ShopMy.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER SITES

WHO I SHARE INFORMATION WITH

HOW LONG I KEEP INFORMATION
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your information
- Messages and inquiries: as long as needed to respond and keep records of brand work
- Comments: indefinitely, unless you ask me to remove them
DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no industry standard for how to honor them. You can still control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them.

- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Email me at hello@brittanyurl.com to see, correct, or delete the personal information I have about you. I’ll respond within a reasonable time.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has shared information here, email me at hello@brittanyurl.com and I’ll delete it.
SECURITY
I use reasonable measures to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) connection. No website can guarantee perfect security, but I take it seriously.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
This site links to other websites, including retailers and brand partners. I’m not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, I’ll post a notice on the site.
